Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

GLEN CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Workers and Projects: Oversee the daily activities of construction workers and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and Schedule Activities: Plan and coordinate construction schedules, including material deliveries and labor allocation.
  • Train or Arrange for Training: Provide on-the-job training to construction workers and arrange for additional training as needed.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Enforce health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions: Make recommendations for personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement methods to meet project deadlines and ensure timely completion.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure construction projects are built according to plan.
  • Requisition Materials and Supplies: Order materials and supplies as needed to ensure project completion.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in residential construction.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
