About the Role

The Arctic Wolf security operations platform processes over 600 billion events daily from various on-premise devices and cloud platforms. Our security pipeline is a distributed system of loosely-coupled microservices that provide real-time analysis and threat detection. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with our Concierge Security Teams to distill incoming events into actionable intelligence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create and scale high-performance services in a real-time threat analysis pipeline
  • Architect, design, develop, test, and deliver software in an agile environment
  • Deploy containerized services to production within hours after changes are merged
  • Work with a team of highly skilled software professionals
  • Continuously learn and expand your technical horizons

Our Technology Stack

We use Golang, Python, Kafka, Docker, Postgres, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes, and Linux to build our platform.

You

  • Have 8+ years of experience shipping production-quality software
  • Have 2+ years of experience leading/mentoring other software developers
  • Love coding
  • Have deployed services on cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Have experience working on distributed systems and/or microservices architecture
  • Have designed complex algorithms and methods to test algorithms - preferred
  • Have experience with databases and database schema design - preferred
  • Have worked with stream processing architectures (e.g., Kafka, Flink) - preferred
