Job Description:

Affinity Group is seeking a skilled DevOps Specialist to lead the management of agile sprint processes for cross-functional program review or product delivery teams. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and mentoring in agile principles, policies, and procedures to enable teams to self-organize and deliver consistently on sprint deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automation and Scripting: Design and implement automation for limited downtime deployment and maintenance, creating scripts, tools, and procedures for operations.
  2. Operations Management: Manage configuration and credentials for the production environment, plan and manage maintenance activities, and manage database upgrades and migrations, backups, recoveries, etc.
  3. Support and Enhancement: Provide operations support for the implementation and enhancement of digital services, creating templates and patterns for application deployments and CI/CD pipelines, and creating scripts and tools to automate the establishment of environments for development and testing.
  4. Best Practices Adoption: Support delivery teams in adopting best practices by providing operations support for early and frequent integration testing, security scans, system testing, and performance and load testing.

Requirements:

  1. Experience with Azure RedHat OpenShift - 3 years
  2. Experience with DevOps on Azure Services - 2 years
  3. Experience with Disaster Recovery architectures, processes, and tests - 2 years
  4. Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting - 3 years
  5. Experience with scaling services through either horizontal or vertical scaling techniques - 3 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with BuildMaster - 2 years
  2. Experience with DevOps on AWS - 2 years
  3. Experience with IaC tools (ex. Terraform) - 2 years
  4. Experience with VM sizing based on needs and performance testing - 2 years
