Job Opportunity: Corporate Clerk - Corporate Services Group

We are currently seeking two Corporate Clerks for our Business Law Corporate Services group in Ottawa. The successful candidates will support the digitization of corporate minute books by adopting Athennian workflow software. Key responsibilities include ensuring data integrity in iManage and Athennian, reviewing various sources of corporate data, arranging information storage, and liaising with Corporate Clerks responsible for each corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review multiple sources of corporate data to capture relevant information.
  2. Saving relevant data using iManage and Athennian workflow software.
  3. Liaising with Corporate Clerks responsible for corporations as work progresses.
  4. Maintaining currency and integrity of corporate materials in iManage and Athennian.
  5. Performing ongoing quality control throughout the process.
  6. Acting as a go-to person for staff regarding status of corporate files within the digitization process.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  1. A Law Clerk diploma coupled with a minimum of three years' experience as a Law Clerk/Paralegal in Ontario.
  2. A minimum of three years of experience handling corporate and/or governance documents in an office environment.
  3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, iManage, and Nuance PDF or Adobe Acrobat.
  4. Experience with Athennian or similar corporate databases is an asset.
  5. Ability to work well in a team environment, employing good communication and social skills.
  6. Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Salary Range: CAD 60,000 - CAD 80,000 per year
