About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Mary Brown's - Gateway Grande Prairie. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead our restaurant operations and drive success.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Handling and Reporting: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Liquor Legislation and Regulations: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and responsible drinking environment.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to protect employees and customers.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure competitive prices and timely deliveries.
  • Marketing Plans: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Daily Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience in restaurant operations or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: MS Office, MS Windows, MS Word, basic security clearance, public transportation available, and a combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player.

  • Salary: $100,001 - $500,000 per year.
