Line Cook
About the Job:
The primary duty of this role is to prepare and cook meals or individual dishes as required. This includes maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment in the kitchen. Additionally, the line cook will be responsible for cleaning the kitchen and work areas.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
This role requires the ability to work under pressure, with physically demanding tasks. Overtime may be required, and the person in this position must be able to stand for extended periods. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role. They will be a team player with excellent oral communication skills and good judgement. The candidate must be dependable and able to work under pressure. A permanent position with a 35 to 40 hours per week schedule is being offered. The working language is English, and the job is located in a area with public transportation available.
