Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Guy's Tire Sales Inc. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and ensuring that all work is completed to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Adjust and Repair Parts and Components: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, and brake systems.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and provide accurate quotes to customers.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and completing reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification: Possess an Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Automotive Systems: Have experience with automotive systems, including engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, and brake systems.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
