Job Title: Automotive Licensed Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Licensed Technician to join our team at Midas Thunder Bay 9198. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on their vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems to identify and repair complex issues
  • Conduct tire and tire repair services, including balancing and rotation
  • Inspect and repair car heating and air conditioning systems
  • Diagnose and repair steering and suspension systems
  • Inspect and repair belts and hoses
  • Diagnose and repair radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Inspect and repair batteries, starting, and charging systems
  • Diagnose and repair brake systems
  • Perform oil services and check engine light diagnostics
  • Inspect and repair mufflers and exhaust systems
  • Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics
  • Proven track record of high personal productivity
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
  • Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
  • Provincial Certificate of Qualification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
  • Able to service both import and domestic vehicles
