About the Role:
We're seeking an Underwriting Support Clerk to join our growing team at Intact. As a key member of our Commercial Insurance team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Underwriters in processing files and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process files and administrative tasks to support the Commercial Insurance team
- Work with a team of Commercial Underwriters to service our National Brokers
- Assist in the preparation of underwriting reports and other documents
- Provide excellent customer service to our brokers and clients
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of office customer service experience
- Insurance industry experience is an asset
- Keyboarding skills and knowledge of computers required
- Experience with Windows-based software programs and underwriting systems preferred
