About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Manager to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for managing the origination and underwriting of CMHC insured financing proposals for construction and term mortgages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the origination and underwriting of CMHC insured financing proposals
  • Assist in the preparation of internal credit application submissions
  • Provide leadership and direction to real estate associates, analysts, and coordinators
  • Work closely with the commercial mortgage funding team and external legal counsel
  • Engage in active marketing and business development efforts
  • Monitor the mortgage portfolio and identify and manage problem loans

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years commercial mortgage underwriting and business development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Knowledge of AML and KYC requirements
  • Proven ability to generate sales and market development
  • Exceptional relationship development skills
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills

What We Offer

Peoples Trust offers a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $100,000 and $120,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience of the chosen candidate.
