Overhead Crane Repair Specialist

Job Summary
The Cherubini company is seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Mechanic to join our team. As an Overhead Crane Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of overhead cranes and other lift equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain overhead cranes and lift equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Inspect, repair and adjust gasoline and diesel-powered units as required.
- Diagnose defects in equipment and perform mechanical repairs in the shop when required.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and functionality.
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.
- Perform other mechanical repair work as required to meet the needs of the company.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical abilities, including schematics and diagnostics.
- Should have a mechanical background and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Should be a computer literate and able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure and have a strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
