Are you a seasoned professional looking to take on a challenging role in the energy sector? Egis Canada is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in North America. As a key member of our Process Engineering Group, you will play a pivotal role in the design, optimization, and management of intricate processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering principles, process simulation, and project management. With a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for analyzing process data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability.

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and optimize production facilities, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will be essential in shaping the future of the energy industry, driving advancements in technology, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising between clients and operations staff, equipment vendors, and third-party contractors in project planning and execution.
  • Conducting independent studies, operating data analyses, interpretations, and conclusions within the scope of various assigned projects.
  • Coordinating completion of Process Engineering tasks and deliverables with other engineering disciplines within Egis.
  • Managing Process engineering personnel and providing oversight and mentoring through the execution of multiple client projects.

Technical Capabilities:

  • Providing competent and independent technical direction within the Process Engineering Group, as well as to other departments.
  • Licensed and capable to take professional responsibility for authentication (stamping) of Process Engineering work packages and drawings.
  • Carrying out system capacity and debottlenecking studies for existing upstream petroleum production, processing, and transportation facilities and pipelines.
