About the Role:
This part-time temporary position will provide scheduling support for medical imaging services at Regina General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating appointments, managing patient information, and ensuring smooth operations within the Interventional Radiology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule medical imaging procedures, including CT scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Apply knowledge of medical terminology to understand and process patient information
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Twelve (12) months of previous experience working in a medical office environment
- A Medical Administrative Assistant diploma
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
This role is based at Regina General Hospital and requires occasional evening and weekend shifts. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless delivery of medical imaging services.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $22.60 to $24.21 per hour, paid on a hourly basis. As an employee of Health Careers in Sask, you will also have access to our comprehensive benefits package.
