Landscape Worker Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Worker to join our team at Stewart Tree Farms. As a key member of our outdoor crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting and moving trees
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, such as chain saws and small engine equipment
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Apply fertilizers and other treatments as needed
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role. You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in landscaping or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
