Landscape Worker Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Worker to join our team at Stewart Tree Farms. As a key member of our outdoor crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting and moving trees
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, such as chain saws and small engine equipment
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Apply fertilizers and other treatments as needed
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must be physically fit and able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in landscaping or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
