Cynet Systems is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware and network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Hardware Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and provision client and client servers, as well as rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment.
  2. Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance: Troubleshoot, test, and perform quality assurance of server hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  3. Hardware Maintenance and Repair: Professionally resolve hardware issues via trouble tickets and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
  4. Desired Skills and Experience:
    1. Operating System Installation: Experience with installing and configuring Windows Server, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
    2. Cabling and Network Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cabling and network infrastructure, including port mappings and cable types.
    3. Hardware Troubleshooting: Understanding of basic hardware troubleshooting principles and ability to apply logical methods of resolution.
    4. Network Equipment Deployment: Experience with deploying Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment and knowledge of RAID levels.
    5. Web Server and Database Installation: Experience with installing and configuring web servers and databases.
    6. Work Environment and Requirements:
      1. Work Authorization: Must be able to work in this country without sponsorship.
      2. Adaptability and Teamwork: Must be willing to learn quickly, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment as part of a dynamic team.
