VIP Support Technician

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated VIP Support Analyst to join our team. This permanent full-time position will be based in Edmonton, working closely with the Team Lead, LEG VIP Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior analysts to troubleshoot, resolve, and/or coordinate the resolution of all support calls originating from VIP clients.
- Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide timely updates on request status.
- Work with various stakeholders to engage GoA teams if their assistance is needed in request submission or resolution.
- Assist team members as a junior technical resource to enhance overall performance.
Requirements:
- Hold a 2-year diploma in a related field such as Computer Sciences, Information Technology from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts as required (7:30am – 5pm).
Preferred Qualifications:
- General understanding of IT policies and programs.
- Experience working with VIP level clients and effective communication with clients.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Experience working with information technology, desktops, laptops, peripherals, network devices, and servers.
- Experience working with all Windows platforms.
- Experience in Microsoft Exchange and Outlook.
- Experience in Microsoft Active Directory Services.
- Knowledgeable of mobile devices, enrollment processes, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Experience with multifunction authentication.
- Experience with video conferencing technologies.
- Experience working with Mac platforms.
- Experience providing IT support in large public sector organizations similar to the Government of Alberta.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $59,713 - $89,555 per year, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment that values diversity and innovation.
