TD Insurance is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst II to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our General Insurance Pricing team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain pricing models and algorithms to ensure accurate and efficient pricing of our general insurance products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes that impact our pricing strategies.
- Conduct actuarial analysis and provide recommendations to senior management on pricing strategies and rate changes.
- Work closely with our data analytics team to develop and maintain data-driven pricing models and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in actuarial science and pricing.
- Three to five years of experience in actuarial science, with a focus on general insurance pricing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel, with experience in data analysis and modeling.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SAS, VBA, R, or Python.
- ACAS near completion or at least six Casualty Actuarial Society professional exams.
