Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards that our customers expect from us.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their issues are resolved promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our business operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with the information they need to make informed decisions.
Work Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods and walk around the restaurant to oversee operations.
Personal Suitability: We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to communicate effectively with staff and customers. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is able to work well under pressure, we would love to hear from you.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees: As a Food Service Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to support newcomers and refugees, assisting with their immediate settlement needs and providing them with the support they need to succeed in their new roles.
