M&A United Glazing Inc. is seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our glazing team, you will be responsible for installing glass and glazing systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the Type of Glass and Materials Required

You will analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of glass, frames, and materials needed for each project.

Measure, Mark, and Cut Glass

You will accurately measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure a precise fit for each installation.

Position and Secure Panes in Frame

You will carefully position and secure panes of glass in frames to ensure a secure and watertight seal.

Assemble and Install Prefabricated Glass, Mirrors, or Glass Products

You will assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products according to manufacturer instructions and industry standards.

Install Door, Window, and Other Hardware

You will install door, window, and other hardware to ensure a smooth and secure operation.

Repair Glass Doors and Other Glass Structures

You will repair glass doors and other glass structures to ensure they are safe and functional.

Assemble, Erect, and Dismantle Scaffolding, Rigging, and Hoisting Equipment

You will assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment to ensure safe access to work areas.

Work at Heights, on Scaffolding, or Swing Stages

You will work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to install glass and glazing systems.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
