Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer - Textile Processing to join our team at DAVE CUT MAKE & TRIM INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and off-loading machines, operating and feeding various machines, and performing other tasks related to textile processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and off-load machines to ensure efficient production
  • Operate and feed a variety of machines, including cutting and cleaning equipment
  • Cut fabric or layers of fabric to specifications, adjusting cutting technique as needed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Investigate machine stoppages and perform basic troubleshooting
  • Assist machine operators and other textile workers as required
  • Examine products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
