Job Title: Labourer - Textile Processing

At DAVE CUT MAKE & TRIM INC., we are seeking a skilled Labourer - Textile Processing to join our team. As a Labourer - Textile Processing, you will be responsible for loading and off-loading machines, operating and feeding various machines, and cutting fabric to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and off-loading machines to ensure efficient production
  • Operating and feeding a variety of machines to meet production demands
  • Cutting fabric to specifications to meet quality standards
  • Cleaning machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Investigating machine stoppages to minimize downtime
  • Assisting machine operators and other textile workers as required
  • Adjusting cutting technique to type of fabric and style of garment to meet production needs
  • Examining products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a textile processing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
