Job Title: Early Childhood Education Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Worker to join our team at Oaklands Neighbourhood House.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and families in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an Early Childhood Education Worker, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
