Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Blossom Early Childhood Center. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes developing and implementing activities that promote creativity, social skills, and emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Leading activities that promote creativity, social skills, and emotional intelligence
  • Encouraging children to express themselves through art, music, and physical activity
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and preparing reports for parents or guardians
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Availability for the advertised start date
  • Legally able to work in Canada
