Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Two Hills Liquor Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
- Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, cleaning the counter area, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Participate in Promotional Activities: Participate in in-store promotions, events, and sales initiatives to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees by participating in diversity and cross-cultural training programs.
- Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and provide a supportive work environment that fosters their growth and development.
- Support for Mature Workers: Provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
