About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at 1141030 B.C. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our facilities are clean and safe for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for hiring and training new staff members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Supervision and Coordination

The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of our housekeeping staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Site Inspections

The Housekeeping Supervisor will conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Service Recommendations

The successful candidate will recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repair work, and renovations.

Departmental Coordination

The Housekeeping Supervisor will coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Work Scheduling

The successful candidate will establish work schedules for our housekeeping staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Social and Labour Market Integration

The Housekeeping Supervisor will support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees, facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.

Newcomer Recruitment

The successful candidate will recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster.

Credential Recognition

The Housekeeping Supervisor will support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.

Mentorship Programs

The successful candidate will offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.

Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training

The Housekeeping Supervisor will provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.

Support for Indigenous People
  • Mentorship and Coaching

The Housekeeping Supervisor will offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.

Community Relationships

The successful candidate will develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.

Cultural Competency Training

The Housekeeping Supervisor will provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Elder Support

The successful candidate will facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
