Job Title: Team Leader

As a key member of the management team, the Team Leader provides support to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in overseeing the daily retail store operations. In the absence of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager, the Team Leader ensures that store opening/closing and asset management procedures are followed and that employees work safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the resources of the store to maximize results and store appearance while ensuring constant inventory on the shelves.
  • Ensure employees work safely.
  • Explain, understand, and follow company rules and regulations by all team members.
  • Operate a cash register.
  • Assist in receiving and stocking of all merchandise.
  • Follow established merchandising practices.
  • Provide quality customer service.
  • Ensure store cleanliness.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for new employees.
  • Train new employees on key store processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in a management position in the retail industry.
  • Ambition to progress within the company.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Proven ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Flexibility with regard to availabilities and work schedules (day, evening, weekend).
