About the Role

SEA STAR EDUCATION LTD. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Worker to join our team. As an Early Childhood Education Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the overall well-being of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and engage children in creative play to foster their growth and development.
  • Child Development: Encourage children to express their creativity through various media, such as art, music, and physical activity.
  • Health and Safety: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and medical exam
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and team player
  • Experience: Experience an asset
