Job Title: Delivery Truck Driver

L.A.X Delivery Express & Hot Shot is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
  • Load and unload goods
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
  • Provide customer service
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
