Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive vehicles: Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to pick up and deliver goods and materials.
  • Receive and relay information: Receive and relay information to central dispatch to ensure efficient and effective delivery operations.
  • Load and unload goods: Load and unload goods and materials from vehicles, ensuring that they are properly secured and handled.
  • Use maps and trip planning aids: Use maps and other trip planning aids to plan and navigate delivery routes.
  • Record trip information: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Perform vehicle inspections: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Physical demands: Be able to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work hours: 30-35 hours per week.
