Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to join our team at Gerarda Tersigni. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
