Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Advisor to join our team of experienced professionals. As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of clients, building relationships, creating comprehensive financial plans, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition

    Deliver exceptional client experiences by establishing personal relationships and providing trusted investment advice. Create customized financial plans to enhance existing relationships and cultivate new ones.

  • Business Development

    Understand your local market and potential client base to create a comprehensive sales plan that converts leads into new clients. Utilize your strong relationship-building and networking skills to establish relationships, create business opportunities, and achieve tangible results.

  • Community Engagement

    Represent CIBC in your community by participating in local events and taking part in marketing and outreach activities. Expand your network to build lasting relationships that will generate future opportunities.

  • Experience

    You have at least 1.5 to 3 years of experience in a financial advisor role, managing and developing your own client portfolio.

  • Professional Designations

    You hold a current and up-to-date registration with the relevant regulatory bodies, including the IIROC. You have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) within the past three years and must complete the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), the Essentials of Wealth Management (EWM), and the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) courses within 24 months of starting your role.
