About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at School District #35. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication challenges and develop effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop personalized therapy plans in collaboration with students, teachers, and families
  • Provide individual or group sessions to address difficulties in articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Support students with swallowing disorders to ensure their safety and well-being in educational settings
Requirements
  • Masters degree or equivalent training in Speech and Language Pathology
  • Eligibility for membership in the Speech and Hearing B.C. Association or the Speech-Language Audiology Canada Association
  • Eligibility for membership to the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of B.C.
  • Desirable experience in diagnostic experience, clinical experience, and consultative capacity with associate professional staff
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $104,000, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
