Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to clients with hearing, communication, and related disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with communication disorders.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to improve communication skills and quality of life for clients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and professional standards in speech-language pathology to provide high-quality services.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.
  • Eligibility for membership in the Canadian and/or BC Association of Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology (CASLPA and/or BCSLPA).
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
