About the Role:
The Store Director is a leadership position responsible for the overall daily operations and strategy of the Birks store in Ottawa's Rideau Centre. The ideal candidate will embody our belief in the promise of a brighter tomorrow through exceptional interactions with clients and colleagues. As a result-driven professional, you will work in a highly motivated team that values excellence, hard work, and teamwork.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop meaningful relationships with each client to ensure exceptional customer service and loyalty.
- Foster an environment that prioritizes the client experience, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Coach, train, and develop high-performing store staff to achieve sales targets and support store objectives.
- Manage store operations, business development, client relations, and community outreach to promote the Birks brand.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to drive sales growth, optimize store performance, and enhance the client experience.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of ten years of retail sales experience, preferably in luxury retail and/or jewelry. Strong team values, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or Marketing are essential. You must be goal-oriented, sales-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
