We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Speech Therapist to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

About the Role

This permanent full-time opportunity offers an attractive salary of $85,000 per year, based on 38.75 hours of work per week. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, and vision care benefits, as outlined in our collective agreement.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough speech-language tests and examinations to diagnose and evaluate speech, voice, resonance, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement remedial programs to correct speech, voice, language, resonance, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders, working closely with our interdisciplinary team.
  • Supervise technical and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Professional licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate and guide team members.
