Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Jack R. Bowerman, CPA - Professional Corporation. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and classify financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Financial Statement Preparation
    • Prepare trial balance of books
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
    • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Accounting Software and Systems
    • Proficient in accounting software such as ACCPAC, Accounting software, Caseware/Caseview, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Quick Books, Simply Accounting, and TaxPrep
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Own transportation
    • Valid driver's licence
