Role Overview
The Clinical Coordinator role is a critical position within our Regional Cardiac Care Program. As a leader, you will be responsible for coordinating patient flow activities, managing staffing levels, and ensuring quality of patient care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Patient Flow Strategies: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective patient flow strategies that meet the needs of patients and staff.
- Manage Staffing Levels: Work with the manager to oversee daily staffing levels, ensure quality of patient care delivery, and manage patient flow related activities.
- Lead Evidence-Based Practice Implementation: Lead the team in implementing evidence-based practices within a patient-centered care philosophy.
- Recruitment and Performance Evaluation: Collaborate with the manager regarding human resource responsibilities, including recruitment, just-in-time teaching, and ongoing performance evaluation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with members of the inter-professional team to ensure excellence in patient care through monitoring of standards of care and patient outcomes.
