As a Senior Software Systems Engineer at Extreme Networks, you will play a critical role in enhancing the security and robustness of our industry-leading products. Collaborate with seasoned professionals to refine various commercial offerings in the expanding security sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in security standard validation initiatives, contributing expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop system software that complies to FIPS-140, LINCE, and/or Common Criteria.
  • Perform comprehensive security analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and strengthen overall system security.
  • Analyse system logic at a holistic level, ensuring alignment with FIPS standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux subsystems and networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPsec etc.).
  • Extensive experience in developing embedded applications for Linux, participation in design, implementation, testing, maintenance, enhancement, and support of complex software modules.
  • Solid verbal and written communications skills, positive attitude, and a team player.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
