Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced French Immersion Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor Doctor French Immersion Tutor, you will work with students to develop their language skills and build their confidence in French. You will be responsible for creating personalized lesson plans, conducting tutoring sessions, and communicating with parents and students to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Conduct tutoring sessions in French, using a variety of teaching methods and materials
  • Communicate with parents and students to ensure progress and address any concerns
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in language instruction
Requirements
  • Proficiency in teaching and reviewing all content related to French language and culture
  • Graduated from or currently enrolled in post-secondary education (graduates and undergraduates)
  • Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching experience, especially exposure to different learning styles (formal or informal)
  • Access to a vehicle or public transportation
  • Availability between 4PM-9PM on weeknights and on weekends, as these are generally the times requested by clients
  • Must be open to completing a criminal background check, if not already completed
