French Language Instructor Wanted

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced French language instructor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. as a part-time French language tutor/coach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spoken and written French and English, and be comfortable teaching up to a Grade 9 level, but up to Grade 12 is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach French language classes to students of varying levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve teaching skills
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 4-12 French core curriculum
