Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

Deca Horticultural Service Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to lead our outdoor worksites and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, tree service, and grounds maintenance.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for landscape construction projects.
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including material requisitions and equipment maintenance.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient project execution.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in landscape construction, grounds maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of 5-10 people.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and provide technical advice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and variable work schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and logs.
