Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at ADVENTURE CANADA. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Manage contracts
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Oversee development of communication strategies
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Provide customer service
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Assign, co-ordinate, and review projects and programs
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in human resources
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, and project management software skills
  • Human resources area of specialization
