Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Arborg Foods Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food presentation standards to meet customer expectations and company goals.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients, supplies, and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge, and to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and to promote cross-functional understanding and cooperation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
