Senior Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Anixter International. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability across multiple business units.
  • Enhance and maintain financial reporting and analysis processes to ensure accurate and timely data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to drive growth.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, finance teams, and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to effectively communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
