Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Vertex Construction & Management Services. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, as well as repairing cracks and holes. You will also mix paint to the desired color and texture, measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Estimate costs and materials
Work Environment

As a Painter at Vertex Construction & Management Services, you will work in various locations, including interior and exterior surfaces. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
Benefits
