Job Description

**Senior Agile Transformation Consultant**

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Agile Transformation Consultant to drive the agile transformation of our client's Cards business. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in structuring the agile delivery model, qualifying projects for agile vs. waterfall, and working with executives to establish top-down reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. **Structure Agile Delivery Model**: Develop and implement an agile delivery model that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
  2. **Project Qualification**: Qualify projects for agile vs. waterfall delivery, ensuring that the right approach is used for each project.
  3. **Executive Reporting**: Work with executives to establish top-down reporting, providing insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
  4. **Training and Development**: Develop and deliver training programs for team members new to agile methodologies.
  5. **Collaboration**: Collaborate with project-based teams on multimillion-budget projects, ensuring that agile principles are applied effectively.
  6. **Agile Consulting**: Utilize agile consulting expertise to organize, prioritize, and recommend changes to improve project delivery.
  7. **Stakeholder Management**: Work closely with executives, Directors of Application Development & Transformation, and Directors of Business Analysis and Quality Assurance to ensure that agile principles are applied consistently.
  8. **Reporting**: Report to VP level and executives on the business side, providing regular updates on project progress and agile adoption.
Requirements:
  1. **Minimum 4 Years of Experience**: Minimum 4 years of experience as an Agile Coach or Agile Consultant.
  2. **Background in Portfolio or Technology**: Background in portfolio or technology line of business.
  3. **Certification in Agile Methodologies**: Certification in agile methodologies.
  4. **Experience with Multimillion-Budget Projects**: Experience working with multimillion-budget projects.
  5. **Strong Understanding of the Financial Industry**: Strong understanding of the financial industry, preferably in cards.
  6. **Flexibility**: Ability to work in-office on Wednesdays and every 3rd Friday of the month.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  1. **Consulting Experience**: Consulting experience in addition to agile coaching.
  2. **Familiarity with the Canadian Banking Industry**: Familiarity with the Canadian banking industry.
