Farm Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Coutts Agro Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of farm laborers, ensuring the efficient operation of farm equipment and machinery, and maintaining accurate records of farm activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise the work of farm laborers to ensure efficient and safe operation of farm activities
- Monitor and follow processes and procedures to maximize crop production yield and minimize production expenses
- Supervise and operate equipment and machinery as directed, including monitoring settings and verifying equipment is working as intended
- Track and report progress as directed, maintaining all government-mandated and company required logbooks and in-field progress
- Inspect equipment and trucks daily and periodically throughout operation
- Communicate information such as pests noticed, equipment requiring maintenance, etc.
- Load and unload trucks as necessary, ensuring all loads are properly secured
- Keep shop, yard, and equipment clean
- Supervise and participate in performing all basic maintenance on a daily and ongoing basis to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Communicate and coordinate equipment requiring more significant maintenance or repair, assist with completing repairs as directed
- Participate in team meetings and assist other team members when needed
- Maintain record of time worked by clocking in/out of time system appropriately
- Refrain from non-work-related cell phone usage while at work and refrain from posting company-related photos or information on social media
- Act as a positive representative for Coutts Agro Ltd. in the community
- Perform general farm duties as directed by supervisor
- Ensure farm safety, security, and bio-security procedures are followed
- Over 5 years of farm management experience
