Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to surgical patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering individualized care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and utilizing technology to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Utilize computerized systems for documentation of patient care, ensuring accurate and timely recording of vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant information.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • CURRENTLY REGISTERED NURSE REGISTRATION WITH THE COLLEGE OF NURSES OF ONTARIO
  • BCLS REQUIRED OR DEMONSTRATED COMPETENCY
  • DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE OF ACUTE MEDICAL/SURGICAL CARE
  • RECENT SURGICAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
