We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel, Global Corporate Legal Affairs to join our executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Management:
    Oversee budgeting and manage the division's profit and loss (P&L) statement.
    1. Participate in monthly P&L review meetings with the finance division of the parent company.
    2. Review and approve incoming invoices through Dynamics 365.
    3. Review and approve outgoing invoices to clients.
    4. Ensure accountability for enterprise risk management within the Billing division.
  2. Strategy Development:
    Collaborate with WELLSTAR leadership, other business unit leaders, and the Billing Division leadership team to develop a compelling strategy for the division.
    1. Execute the strategy with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving strong P&L performance.
    2. Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape.
    3. Stay informed about emerging business trends and technologies.
  3. Team Leadership:
    Lead and manage the executive leadership team for Billing & Back Office services.
    1. Evolve the organizational structure to enhance quality and scalability.
    2. Host monthly All-Hands meetings to provide updates to the Billing teams.
  4. Stakeholder Management:
    Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government bodies, regulators, and health system players.
    1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as shared services, other business unit leaders, and WELLSTAR leadership.
    2. Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
    3. Develop partnerships with resellers and other strategic allies.
  5. Project Management:
    Oversee large-scale projects, providing support and guidance as needed.
    1. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards within the healthcare technology industry.
  6. Corporate Development:
    Assist the sales team with high-value opportunities.
    1. Lead initiatives to source, negotiate, and conduct due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
